Southeastern Bluebird – Original oil in floating frame

$800.00

In Where the Wildflowers Listen, dawn unfolds like a whispered promise across the marsh, touching each petal and feather with its first tender glow. The bluebird perched on the weathered post seems to pause in perfect stillness, as if listening to the soft rustle of blooms waking in the early light. Water gathers the sky’s pale gold, hills rest in muted calm, and the whole landscape feels suspended in a moment where nature speaks only in hushes and the heart instinctively understands.

It is 20 x 10, and will come wrapped in a matching floating frame.

Description

Where the Wildflowers Listen – In the hush of a Louisiana morning, a bluebird rests on an old fence post as if pausing between heartbeats. The marsh behind it glows with the first light of day, water pooling in soft mirrors that hold the sky’s pale gold. Around the post, yellow wildflowers tilt their faces toward the dawn, their petals catching every small shimmer of warmth.

Everything in this scene feels attentive — the bird, the blooms, even the stillness of the hills beyond — as though the world has stopped just long enough to listen. It is a moment of gentleness, a reminder that beauty often arrives quietly, waiting for anyone willing to slow down and hear it.

It is 20 x 10 and will be wrapped in a matching floating frame.

Deer and waterfall – framed, stretched canvas print

The forest in Where the Green World Breathes feels like a living cathedral, its light falling in soft, moss‑green hushes as the waterfall threads its quiet song through stone and shadow. Eagle oil painting original

Arts & Crafts
$1,200.00
In Where the Mountains Keep Watch, the wilderness gathers around a single cabin tucked beneath towering pines, as if the land itself has chosen to shelter it. The river moves with a soft, steady glow, carrying reflections of sky and timber like whispered stories of the valley. Above it all, the mountains rise in their ancient stillness — vast, unmoving sentinels whose presence can be felt even through the haze that softens their faces. The eagle’s wide arc becomes a blessing over the scene, a reminder that the wild sees everything, remembers everything, and holds its own quiet counsel. Specs: 18" by 24", 1.5 deep, gallery wrap, painted sides Signed Canvas or Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com

Fall Season Redheaded Woodpecker Bird – Original oil, framed

Arts & Crafts
$1,000.00
Original painting sold.  Price is for a canvas print in a frame. - At 18 by 22 inches, the painting holds an intimacy that invites the viewer closer, as if stepping into the hush of that late‑season afternoon. The colors settle gently across the panel, gathering in soft layers that echo the quiet dignity of the scene. The woodpecker’s bright crown becomes a single note of courage against the mellow drift of pumpkins and leaves, a reminder that even the smallest creatures carry their own rituals of watchfulness. In this scale, every detail feels personal — the weathered grain of the fence, the tender glow of the harvest, the poised stillness of the bird — all working together to honor the fragile beauty of autumn’s last, lingering breath. Oil painting turtle sea wildlife art

Arts & Crafts
$1,200.00
Where Hope is Buried - jury selected piece, recognized for its evocative storytelling and conservation-centered theme. A mother sea turtle returns to the water in the fading gold of day, her silhouette softened by the last warmth of the sun. Behind her, beneath the sand she has shaped with ancient care, rests a hidden cradle of tomorrow. She leaves no marker, no sign—only trust in the rhythm that has guided her kind for millions of years. In her slow retreat, there is both exhaustion and triumph. Every step toward the waves is a testament to endurance, to instinct older than memory, to a lineage fighting to survive in a world that grows harsher each season. All sea turtles are endangered, yet she moves with the quiet certainty of one who still believes in the possibility of return—of hatchlings rising from the sand, of small lives finding the ocean’s embrace. Specs: 24" by 18", 1.5" deep, gallery wrap style, painted sides. Signed Canvas or Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com

$400.00
Original oil painting sold.  The price shown is for a framed print on canvas.  -  This is a jury selected piece.  On the eve of the catastrophic August 2016 flood, the wetlands held their breath beneath a sky splitting open with fire and shadow. Stillness Under the Driftwood - Tucked beneath the shelter of a fallen log, a young raccoon pauses in the quiet rhythm of the forest.
