Southeastern Bluebird – Framed Canvas Print

$200.00

In Where the Wildflowers Listen, dawn unfolds like a whispered promise across the marsh, touching each petal and feather with its first tender glow. The bluebird perched on the weathered post seems to pause in perfect stillness, as if listening to the soft rustle of blooms waking in the early light. Water gathers the sky’s pale gold, hills rest in muted calm, and the whole landscape feels suspended in a moment where nature speaks only in hushes and the heart instinctively understands.

It is 20 x 10, and will come wrapped in a matching floating frame.

Description

Where the Wildflowers Listen – In the hush of a Louisiana morning, a bluebird rests on an old fence post as if pausing between heartbeats. The marsh behind it glows with the first light of day, water pooling in soft mirrors that hold the sky’s pale gold. Around the post, yellow wildflowers tilt their faces toward the dawn, their petals catching every small shimmer of warmth.

Everything in this scene feels attentive — the bird, the blooms, even the stillness of the hills beyond — as though the world has stopped just long enough to listen. It is a moment of gentleness, a reminder that beauty often arrives quietly, waiting for anyone willing to slow down and hear it.

It is 20 x 10 and will be wrapped in a matching floating frame.

Eagle oil painting original

Arts & Crafts
$800.00
In Where the Mountains Keep Watch, the wilderness gathers around a single cabin tucked beneath towering pines, as if the land itself has chosen to shelter it. The river moves with a soft, steady glow, carrying reflections of sky and timber like whispered stories of the valley. Above it all, the mountains rise in their ancient stillness — vast, unmoving sentinels whose presence can be felt even through the haze that softens their faces. The eagle’s wide arc becomes a blessing over the scene, a reminder that the wild sees everything, remembers everything, and holds its own quiet counsel. Elk in forest oil painting

Arts & Crafts
$800.00
Where the Mountains Hide Their Faces - There is a solemn beauty in the way the wilderness holds its secrets. The elk moves with a kind of ancient patience, stepping through the cold as though it understands the hidden rhythms of the land. The pond, dark and half‑frozen, reflects only hints of the world above it, mirroring the mystery of the mountains themselves. In this moment, the forest becomes a cathedral of winter, the creature a lone pilgrim, and the unseen peaks a reminder that some truths are felt long before they are seen. English Springer Spaniel Puppy – framed, stretched canvas print

Arts & Crafts
$300.00
Boomer  - Oil on canvas.  Original sold, price is for a framed canvas print.  There are dogs who simply share our homes, and then there are dogs who share our lives. Boomer was the latter — a Springer Spaniel with a gaze that could quiet a room and a spirit that moved with equal parts devotion and mischief. In this portrait, his expressive brown eyes become the focal point, drawing the viewer into a moment of connection that feels both intimate and enduring. Painted in 2015, the piece blends realism with a softly impressionistic landscape, allowing Boomer’s presence to rise from a world of color and memory. The textured brushwork in his black‑and‑white coat reflects the tactile truth of a beloved companion, while the rolling hills and luminous sky behind him echo the joy and freedom he carried wherever he went. It is 18 x 24, 1  depth, framed, stretched canvas print Signed Canvas or Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com

Leviathan’s Gaze – Canvas Prints Available

In Leviathan’s Gaze, an alligator cuts upward like a blade of ancient hunger, a slow rise of something that remembers the world before fear had a name. Louisiana Lake Arthur painting – framed stretched canvas print

Arts & Crafts
$400.00
Where the Sky Remembers - framed stretched canvas print.  There is a sacred calm in the way evening settles over the Basin country, a hush that carries the weight of seasons, storms, and the enduring spirit of South Louisiana. The colors drift across the horizon like a soft benediction, reminding us that even in a world marked by change, there are moments of pure, unbroken grace. In this painting, the lake becomes a keeper of light, the sky a keeper of memory, and the whole scene a tribute to the landscapes that have shaped generations. It is a love letter to Louisiana — its waters, its skies, cormorants nesting in the cypress trees and the quiet strength that lives in Southern Louisiana. Oil painting turtle sea wildlife art (jury selected)

Arts & Crafts
$1,200.00
Where Hope is Buried - jury selected piece, recognized for its evocative storytelling and conservation-centered theme. A mother sea turtle returns to the water in the fading gold of day, her silhouette softened by the last warmth of the sun. Behind her, beneath the sand she has shaped with ancient care, rests a hidden cradle of tomorrow. She leaves no marker, no sign—only trust in the rhythm that has guided her kind for millions of years. In her slow retreat, there is both exhaustion and triumph. Every step toward the waves is a testament to endurance, to instinct older than memory, to a lineage fighting to survive in a world that grows harsher each season. All sea turtles are endangered, yet she moves with the quiet certainty of one who still believes in the possibility of return—of hatchlings rising from the sand, of small lives finding the ocean’s embrace. Specs: 24" by 18", 1.5" deep, gallery wrap style, painted sides. Signed Canvas or Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com
