Deer and waterfall – framed, stretched canvas print

In The Autumn Sentinel, the blue jay rises like a bright, defiant note against the warm hush of fall. Perched among leaves that burn in shades of ember and gold, it stands alert, as if guarding the last color before winter claims the branches. The soft green field and pale sky behind it create a gentle contrast, allowing the bird’s vivid blues to feel almost ceremonial. This is a moment of stillness and pride — a stately creature holding its place in the turning season. This is 11" by 14", 1.5" and will come in a floating frame. Jury selected for display in Awesome Autumn 2026 KBM Art Gallery Hollywood Signed Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com

Where Hope is Buried - jury selected piece, recognized for its evocative storytelling and conservation-centered theme. A mother sea turtle returns to the water in the fading gold of day, her silhouette softened by the last warmth of the sun. Behind her, beneath the sand she has shaped with ancient care, rests a hidden cradle of tomorrow. She leaves no marker, no sign—only trust in the rhythm that has guided her kind for millions of years. In her slow retreat, there is both exhaustion and triumph. Every step toward the waves is a testament to endurance, to instinct older than memory, to a lineage fighting to survive in a world that grows harsher each season. All sea turtles are endangered, yet she moves with the quiet certainty of one who still believes in the possibility of return—of hatchlings rising from the sand, of small lives finding the ocean’s embrace. Specs: 24" by 18", 1.5" deep, gallery wrap style, painted sides. Signed Canvas or Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com

Stillness Under the Driftwood - Tucked beneath the shelter of a fallen log, a young raccoon pauses in the quiet rhythm of the forest. Smooth river stones, worn by time and water, gather around its hiding place like a natural mosaic of soft grays, rose‑tinted browns, and cool earth tones. Light filters gently across the scene, catching the subtle textures of fur, wood, and stone, inviting the viewer into a moment of stillness at the water’s edge. This painting celebrates the intimate, often unseen world of Louisiana’s woodland wildlife—where curiosity, caution, and beauty meet in a single breath. It is 18 x 24, 1  depth, framed in a matching copper colored frame. Signed Canvas or Paper Prints Available, Contact Artist for more information. mary@maryspaintings.com

There is a sense of watchfulness woven through this scene, a gentle tension between the hush of winter and the bright intelligence of the jay. Its vivid blues rise like a small flame against the pale air, offering a reminder that even in the quietest months, life continues with purpose. The pine branch becomes a stage for resilience, the snow a soft veil over the forest’s secrets. In this painting, the bird is not merely observed — it is honored, a sentinel of the woods who carries the stories that winter keeps close. Price is for a 14" by 14" canvas print in a floating frame. mary@maryspaintings.com
