Southeastern Bluebird – Framed Canvas Print

$200.00

In Where the Wildflowers Listen, dawn unfolds like a whispered promise across the marsh, touching each petal and feather with its first tender glow. The bluebird perched on the weathered post seems to pause in perfect stillness, as if listening to the soft rustle of blooms waking in the early light. Water gathers the sky’s pale gold, hills rest in muted calm, and the whole landscape feels suspended in a moment where nature speaks only in hushes and the heart instinctively understands.

It is 20 x 10, and will come wrapped in a matching floating frame.

Description

Where the Wildflowers Listen – In the hush of a Louisiana morning, a bluebird rests on an old fence post as if pausing between heartbeats. The marsh behind it glows with the first light of day, water pooling in soft mirrors that hold the sky’s pale gold. Around the post, yellow wildflowers tilt their faces toward the dawn, their petals catching every small shimmer of warmth.

Everything in this scene feels attentive — the bird, the blooms, even the stillness of the hills beyond — as though the world has stopped just long enough to listen. It is a moment of gentleness, a reminder that beauty often arrives quietly, waiting for anyone willing to slow down and hear it.

It is 20 x 10 and will be wrapped in a matching floating frame.

Black Bear in Swamp – Canvas Print (Jury Selected Piece)

Arts & Crafts
$400.00
Where the Atchafalaya Breathes - Original oil painting sold.  The price is for a gallery wrapped canvas print.  (Jury selected for participation in the Kit Gilbert Juried Showcase) - There is a sacred beauty in watching the bear reclaim its place among the waterways and winding forests of the Atchafalaya. The wetlands hold its story gently — not a tale of disappearance, but of resilience, protection, and the long patience of a species waiting for its future to brighten. Conservationists, communities, and the land itself worked together to ensure the bear’s voice would not fade from Louisiana’s wild chorus. Today, its presence feels like a blessing woven into the Basin’s tapestry of life, a reminder that when people honor the wild, the wild remembers how to thrive. Endangered Species – Canvas Print Triptych Set

Arts & Crafts
$500.00
Original oil painting triptych sold.  The price shown is for a triptych print set on canvas (three separate framed prints). -  The first whooping crane hatchling born in Louisiana since 1938 is more than a milestone; it is a breath restored to a story that nearly ended. In this triptych, the cranes move through light and marshland like living prayers, each panel holding a chapter of a species’ long journey back from silence. The tiny hatchling—once front‑page news, once unthinkable—becomes the heart of the piece, a symbol of resilience so delicate it feels almost holy. This painting doesn’t just honor the moment; it preserves the hope that rose from the marsh after seventy-eight years, reminding us that even the rarest lives can return when land, patience, and love make room for them.
